WHAT’S THE INSPIRATION?

The original Pickles

So I’m not actually a big fan of pickles! Only recently have I been able to eat one that isn’t buried deep within a veggie burger. This print was one of the first I ever created and I came up with the design because I call my partner pickle. It was originally hand drawn using Posca Pens, I wanted it to be simple, bold and feel fun. At the time of creating it I wasn’t thinking about other people relating to it because Hand and Palm wasn’t even created but it quickly became a favourite and still is! I see people buy it for others that they also call their pickle or buy it for themselves because they are big pickle lovers. I have sold a few of these in A2 which shows there are some true pickle fans out there!
